Canada Place Pier Operation Procedures
The most spectacular way to arrive or depart Vancouver is by
cruise ship. We are able to coordinate transfers or
sightsee tours for groups.

While on board the ship, please contact the
Front Desk staff and advise that you have arranged a
private charter bus to transport your group.

You will need to identify the name of the coach
company, International Stage Lines, and have the
respective booking reference or contract number
documentation.

A member of the cruise line will greet you, after
clearing customs, you will be directed to where to
meet your coach.

This person will contact their respective ground
transportation officer, who will contact our driver
on where to meet the group.

You will be told which bus loading zone or bus bay
where your group will meet the bus.

Our coach and driver, will arrive with a sign in
front window to help you identify your bus.

There are no port fees associated with picking up
groups at Canada Place Pier or Ballentyne Pier in
Vancouver BC.
For Cruise Ship passengers arriving in
Victoria or Nanaimo, there are port fees applicable for
motor coach companies to pickup groups arriving off of the
ship. The rate in 2012 is $200.00 for Victoria (Ogden Point
Pier) & $100.00 for Nanaimo Cruise Ship Port. These fees are
applicable per bus, rather than on an individual basis.
